A New Problem... (CSM attn Sarah)
He sat in his rocking chair and read the telegraph for the third time. Even after he was dead, there were still messes to clean up. Only this time, it was a mess he couldn't just eliminate. This was one of the rare cases of something close to his heart and he would have to play it all out very carefully. And he would need someone to go there in person, where he could not go, amoungst people who believed him dead. Better for them to stay believing that until he knew they wouldn't send another man to kill him. He'd barely escaped with his life the first time.

There were only two of his colleauges he trusted in the least, both of them women, But only one of them knew he was still alive, and it was her he had sent for to carry out his actions. She would be able to handle the situation properly, and keep his former colleauges from over reacting in a way that could turn the entire Project upside down.

She had received the standard call earlier that morning. It was a simple 'click' then nothing. After getting the triplets ready and off to day care Sarah caught the first flight out. It only took an hour or two to get there but to her it felt like an eternity. After renting a vehicle she knew would get her through the snow that had fallen last night she was on her way.

The radio blasted some old rock-n-roll, Sarah bobbing her head slightly. Her hair was loose, the brown tresses stopping almost mid-back. Even with snow on the ground she wore sunglasses over her eyes, the frames engulfing nearly her whole face it seemed.

After an hour of driving she turned onto a room lined by pine trees on either side. It was a hard road to navigate since no snow plow had touched it but she handled it nicely. Five minutes later she pulled up in front of a nice little cabin.

Sarah put the car in park, shut off the engine, and stepped out slamming the door behind her.

When he heard the car door slam, he rose from his seat to glance out the window. He could see her standing beside an SUV and a slight smile touched his mouth. Sarah was the best agent they had, and the only that he could trust with this type of mission.

He unlocked the door of the cabin and stepped into the doorway, waving at her. "Come in..." He invited her into the cabin as if they were meeting under better circumstances. "You were prompt."
